Is there a European Netflix or Youtube?
I think its called BitTorrent.
@lIllIllIllIllIllIll @FallenWalnut I believe Dailymotion is French but it's not great IMO. Search doesn't work well and not well localised.

Grayjay does not need an account, Youtube uses arbitrary restrictions but this is about Dailymotion. Youtube works without an account if you dont use a VPN...

The only one on the Playstore is the real app
FUTO has an own F-Droid repo too, or you can get the apps through obtainium. But many like Grayjay are self updating
You could use the video search of Duckduckgo, so that you don't only get Youtube results.
