I was in my late twenties when I learned that the numbers on a toaster are simply time and not degrees of toastiness.
They are toastiness if your toaster is automatic beyond belief
What a find! Will watch that properly later.
Technology Connections is one of those channels with a name that feels it doesn't fit, while creating high-quality informative content like Smarter Every Day and Veritasium (but about machines in and around the house we've been using and not understanding for literal decades).
His video about Power vs Energy was great too!
