"Multi-decade hiatus" is funny as hell. Like they're bringing back a beloved cable TV series and not "the Allies seized all our TDPs that weren't destroyed and told the entire country they couldn't produce so much as a single pistol for years."

Except Porsche did continue to develop military vehicles after WW2. The Leopard 1 was a Porsche design. Porsche dropping out of the military industry was not an effect of post-war politics but a business decision that happened much later.
