Because they said not to vote for Nazis? Wow, big points for the red team over here

"Don't vote for fascists" is browbeating people, and mean, and besides Both Sides(tm), and nothing will change under a Trump administration, you're all just scare mongering.

You know, the classic, hitting every cheap dogwhistle they can.

I am in pain after reading this. Thanks PugJesus

Yes, that is their argument. Vote for Biden or else Nazi-Trump. And my comment was about how that argument is being recieved. Glad you've caught up.

Ok, so when are you going to catch up to the last 20 uears of politics?

[–] whoreticulture@lemmy.world -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Don't know what you're trying to do here. Saying this isn't going to change the fact that the brow-beating rhetoric is alienating young and left-leaning voters.

Maybe if those voters were more scared of societal collapse than scary words we wouldn't be in this situation.

It's a real concern, but what do we do? Not point out what's happening?

Don't lie, don't be act aloof towards people you think are on your side, and don't call people Trump sympathizers for having criticisms of Biden. There are people trying to downplay the ongoing harms going on under the Biden administration, and in general under the United States government. Be honest about strategy, and join in on demands that Democrats do better whether or not you plan to vote Biden. Maybe call for a better candidate.

edit: and downvotes for advocating honesty. I'd pretend I were surprised but that would be hypocritical and unbelievable.

(those weren't from me)

Reasonable, tbh.

Of course! I'd hate for this site to become like all the others.
