Yeah, that sounds like Meta. Heartless, thoughtless, and needlessly cruel.
Not sure I would say they are thoughtless, I'm sure a lot of thought goes into extracting as much value from people's personal information as they can and excluding anyone that actually cares.
Agree wholeheartedly on the other points though.
