Gerade beim Anschauen der Arte-Doku über Disintegration (und über die Alben davor) mal wieder wieder entdeckt...

In meiner Jugend spielte ich in ne Band und wenn das Gespräch auf The Cure kam - egal aus welche Ecke die Leute kamen - die Reaktion war fast immer ein wissendes Nicken und "jep, das sind verdammt gute Musiker".
Reduziert und trotzdem vielseitig, schaffen es irgendwie fresh zu klingen und sich treu zu bleiben, handwerklich sauber und auf der Bühne absolut entspannt.
Wie dem auch sei, bei dem Lied From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea bleibt die Zeit für ne Weile stehen, bis ich mich von der Gänsehaut erhole.
