Ik denk ook zeker dat dit toernooi perspectief biedt voor de toekomst. Eerlijk is eerlijk: er zat veel nieuw bloed in de selectie die nog weinig met elkaar in het oranje hebben gespeeld. Dan is een halve finale EK echt geen gek resultaat, ook al was het allemaal niet fantastisch.

Met een fitte Koopmeiners, De Jong en Reijnders hebben we een heel sterk middenveld en met Schouten en Veerman achter de hand zijn er veel tactische opties.
