Analysts say many things, Pachter for those of us who've been around a while, is one of those analysts. Man is well connected thanks to the massive E3 parties he used to pull to wine and dine stakeholders into leaking shit that would help him. Even so, he's less reliable than Paul the octopus so, ya, know, can't write analysts without anal...
It's also not really a bold prediction.
PS5 was sold out for years while Xbox was readily available, and it still dominated so hard Microsoft is basically throwing in the towel and planning to put most of their new games on PS.
