To be fair, there was a chance. If 8 billion humans observed quarantine properly and vaccinated we would destroy all forms of influenza.
Didn't we do that? Now my kid is bringing home a different strain every other day
In theory yes, but it's just not realistic for the whole world. In the western world, yes, we can isolate us if we want. It's just not that easy everywhere.
I said a chance. Not that it was a big one.
