Valuing children only for the monetary value they will contribute is a very good way of producing unhappy children which in my view is pretty immoral. It's also pretty close to viewing humans as capital and that's problematic in it's own right

Thinking that money represents something other than human flourishing means you don’t truly grok what money is.

The reason the kids will be keeping the pensions functioning is because the kids will be producing value, which is the same as saying they’ll be creating all the goodness of humanity.

Thinking that human flourishing is best represented by money means you don't truly grok what human flourishing is.

The reason kids will be producing value is that they will be forced to do so in the society we have built for them. We will force them to provide for us just because they "owe" it to us because we raised them into the wageslave system.
