So much pollution and rubber fragments for nothing
Here's where I'm at.
I'm fine if it's a sport. There aren't millions of cars all over the earth doing burnouts, drifting, racing or doing downhill touge, or hitting the land speed record.
I think you're looking for the "fuck cars" community
Surely I can enjoy cars and driving while also enjoying clean air and water
But, but, hur-dur tire make smoke!
I'm with you, I'm tired of breathing polluted air because of this kind of bs
I agree, I like cars, but tires are expensive, lungs aren't cheap either.
Relative to rich people sailing on superyaghts (just to give an example), these rubber lovers are very small fries. Both are wasteful past times, but when looked at per person, there are way more polluting hobbies than going to car events. Taylor Swift going to meet her boyfriend is another famous example.
I like watching guys build and run burnout cars on YouTube. If you think the tires are the expensive part, man are you in for a surprise.
Don't be such a negative Nancy.
Wishing for a world with clean air and less rubber pollution makes me negative?
In this case, yes. These events are not impacting your breathing and the waste is relatively trivial.
Let people have a little fun.
