The movie was supposed to be that ending. Funny thing too is the South Park movie was supposed to be the ending of that show.

Let us hope Family Guy doesn't get a movie.

Eh......family guy could have ended after likd 6-7 seasons and it would have been fine. Aren't they on like season 25 now?

They were cancelled early. The comeback season was good at the time. I agree, If they ended it around 5 or 6 it would be fondly remembered.
