I'm going to miss whenever they fix creepy AI generated hands.
This image is ancient. That may just be an artifact, ai generation at that time as a lot more trippy. I think this is before deep dream.
I think someone ran the image through an ai upscaler. The textures on the rails an stuff are too smooth and the edges are overly sharpened.
My samsung phone does this level of overprocessing when taking pictures and I wish I could figure out how to turn that off.

I think the second pinky is actually a white line in the rock.
I think if you use a different camera app, like one of the gcam mods, it geta rid of Samsung's terrible processing
My Pixel 6 pro gave me a super thick black beard using night mode.
oh, got it. what's it originally from? I mean when you say ancient, what do you mean?
thanks
I haven't seen it before, so I assumed.
It's old enough that I don't actually know where is originally from. Another use posted something from over five years ago, and a comment is saying the image is "old enough to get its learner's permit". Maybe a hyperbole but that's what it feels like.
i tried to find its origin but it's everywhere going way back, and it's the thumbnail for a video, like a video compilation, but the video isn't it.
I have a vague memory of seeing this in the mid-late 2000’s
I'm pretty sure this is an AI-enhanced or AI-created version of an image, since the original image existed long before AI/LLMs did.
What's wrong? Some people have lots of fingers
I'm a fingerist.
no...no I don't like that word.
a digitist.
less upsetting.
