Ease on the rto rules until people are comfy and yank the chain again. Rinse and repeat every 5 years and you can continuously flush out the seniors for freshly graduated blood.

I’d be hesitant to work for a company that has a reputation of calling remote employees to RTO. At least, I’d factor that in when deciding to take the job and need a much higher salary for the reduced job security.

Hey pal, we're trying to maximize this quarter's profits. You're holding a negative long-term view which is keeping the team from synergizing though magical hallway conversations, so why don't you take an action item to realign your personal KPIs with the company's and we'll circle back next week to touch base. I’m good with maximizing company KPIs, as long as they balance out to a positive benefit for me in the long run. Otherwise, what are we doing here?
