A question about Atelier games, how much do I need to farm?
Like I started alchemy, did the tutorial, then got some recipes, also bought couple of books that got me more recipes, but now I don't have any materials. And all those dozen or so require different kind of materials. So, I should just go and start farming? For my main quest item, I needed some ore, got that, but I also have 10+ other recipes, which requires other stuff.
Maybe it will become clear when I play some more, but I just started and felt a bit confused about that.
Which are you playing? I've only played five games in the series so far, and the amount of farming required varies a lot from game to game.
Chances are that at the start, it's a good idea to do your early recipes so that you'll get alchemy XP or have alchemy materials made that you'll end up using later.
