Just putting this out there, but imho "executed" reads far worse - as in it has community agreement behind it, whereas "murdered" sounds like something that someone does all on their own.

But nobody actually will be, at least in these last two cases. Everything's horrifying, but at least I have gin!

Yeah, it's why I'm glad we don't have the death penalty here. People can't be trusted with it.
