85C on the GPU core temp for the 4080 super is unusually hot in my opinion. It's not hot enough to melt the card but that seems weird. For comparison, my case has dogshit cooling and my 4080 super FE never go above 70C core temp, even in the summer when my room was hot as fuck Maybe you just need a more aggressive fan curve? You can set one in MSI Aftervurner.
