US with new technology:

To help fight human trafficking? No

To help find abducted children? No

To catch “illegal” brown kids trying to go to school? Hell yeah!

You just know they're training the AI on people who never had a choice to say no and at the end of the day many of those same people are going to end up being trafficked by ICE or some individual agent anyway. Theres a reason they under report how many people are in their custody.
