The Twitter cofounder previously backed the Tesla CEO in his takeover of the company but walked back his support earlier this year, telling a member on rival social media platform Bluesky, "It all went south.”

Did it Jack? You got to unload a limping dog for top dollar.

Most definitely. With the offer that Elon gave the only correct answer was accept it. For himself and stockholders.

To be fair, Twitter' was always fueled by drama, and if nothing else, Musky sure has been sure to keep that tank full.

Twitter was actually dying before hand because it was completely irrelevant echo chamber. It survives because its now also a complexity irrelevant echo chamber, however, this time with popcorn worth drama.

If you are any where even remotely close to the political left and are still on that platform "clapping back" at idiots, you are part of the problem and giving Musk power.

This. One billion times. People act like they are doing cultural guerrilla, but they are just feeding the algorithms.

Twitter is still a major source of information, a lot of media and news agencies refer to what is posted there. Calling it an irrelevant echo chamber is incorrect. For a lot of journalists, analysts, scientists, and experts in virtually every field Twitter is the main platform and it is the only way to follow them. I don't know why people ignore that fact. Perhaps, due to ignorance.

Yeah Jack sure didn't turn out to be the visionary I thought he was. Just another scummy tech bro.

Seriously. Why not just enjoy looking at the check and fade into the background

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

What gave it away?

I mean, the dog didn't limp much before Elon shot it three times and kicked it down the stairs.
