Explanation: It's been pointed out before that there's a small window of time in which the fax machine, the Samurai class, and Abraham Lincoln all coexisted, making it theoretically possible for a samurai to send a fax to Abraham Lincoln.

Japan wouldn't be connected by undersea telegraph cables until 1906, so our brave samurai will have to at least get to the Continental USA the old fashioned way.
