Why?
They sold their soul. I don't trust them farther than I can throw a fully loaded 787. On that same note, fuck Google, fuck Apple, fuck Adobe, fuck LG, I can go on forever.

I agree with pretty much everything after "on that same note", except I'm not familiar with LG. What did they do?

Privacy invasive everything, forced arbitration, TOS bait and switch.,etc.
Oh, was it them that made the IoT washing machines with a nasty habit of unannounced port scans?
As far as I know, Samsung and LG both do that. But I'm guessing every manufacturer that adds wifi connectivity does the same.
