I try not to begrudge YouTubers for playing stupid algorithm games, since it's apparently a necessity of one is to try to make an actual living over there. I also don't mind long-form content, in principle.

That said, I don't know this guy from a hole in the wall, and did not watch this video.

That's exactly why i don't use YouTube the way I used to. The format almost has to alter constantly in order to appease the algorithm gods. It's fuckin insanity and all it does is drive shot content in the guise of actual. I don't begrudge anyone for getting online and hustling though, i just don't want to participate.
