I have no idea why anyone would watch Dune 7 times. Because I haven't seen dune.

I would watch the one from the 80's 7 times before I watched the new ones 7 times. They're good, but those square box shields from the OG are just too fucking hilarious.

I loved the books, but haven't watched Dune 2 yet. The first Dune was just okay, the book was way better IMO, so I just haven't gotten around to it.

As someone who also thought the first was just 'ok' - go watch it tonight. Dune 2 is the best sci-fi movie made in the last 25 years and maybe in the top 3 of all time. It absolutely does justice to the book(s) and is a total spectacle for the senses. Stop sleeping on it.
