I hate to say this, but, this is a losing battle. I know that that is an unpopular opinion.
You're probably right, but...is that a reason not to try? Manitoba is currently the front line when it comes to preventing or delaying further westward migration.
But the watershed is huge and impossible to police. I'm not saying "don't clean your boats", but rather the cost of fighting the losing battle may be enormous if we have a hope in hell of succeeding. I'm told it has been detected in the Saskatchewan River now, so it's only time until they move upstream.
