This song hits home on many accounts. The countless number of times I’ve given up on myself, my community, my country, the world. The devastation, bleakness, and shit hole, of those above. This song cuts through to the deep concerns, feelings, and thoughts that I’ve had and tend to continue to have throughout my life.

“If you don’t even believe in you, why would you think or expect anybody else that’s around you to?”

I found/fell in love with this song after learning about it from a this greentext

Ever since then a certain mood will strike me and I'll spend a week listening to it. Haven't had a chance to bust it out as a DnD bard but maybe someday

I'm neither a fan of such music, nor a League of Legends player. But this song - I love it. Both rhythm/voices and how they used characters from the game.

Great collaboration of two industries.

Such a good song. It’s relaxing to listen to, but it sticks. It has such a good beat and an addictive chorus.

I’d recommend this song to people who like calming songs. Give it a listen if it interests you; feel free to comment, too, I'd love to hear other's thoughts!

I can't remember how I first came across this song: My wife says I played it for her, but I remember her playing it for me. The important thing is that we both love it, which believe you me, is not all that common.

I love it because it's rollicking and high-energy and earnest. I eventually looked up the lyrics (which are in Catalan) and it's a pretty normal love song with some nice sentiments, but the passion and desire come across in the vocal tone, even through a language barrier.

If you like Yo La Tengo or The Magnetic Fields, this song will probably hit the spot for you.

And if anyone has more music that sounds like this, send it my way. I'm always expanding my library.

For as long as I listen to this song, I still get goose bumps on "Niiightfaaaaall" part. One of their greatest song IMHO from insanely cool album Nightfall in Middle Earth.

It's hard to tell if remastered version sounds better than original. I prefer remastered.

Also there is something strange with lossy codecs when it comes to this particular song, it looses a lot more than other songs if you listen it not in lossless.

I've first heard it in some Gmod animation and it's quite catchy that I decided to listen to the full song.

It also introduced me to the band "Killing Joke" and I'm looking to listen to more of their songs.

The most elaborate example of Symphonic Metal that I'm aware of, all without going over-the-top with howler-monkey-screamo vocals or jackhammer mode on the guitar strings or percussion.

This is THE song to sell the genre! I desperately wish there was more like this!

Not sure what it is about this song but it really gets me. A sort of slightly melancholic ecstasy.

I have a soft spot for dense, relatable semi-nonsense lyrics à la "I Am The Walrus" by the Beatles. My corresponding playlist is still rather short, so feel welcome to recommend any that you know. This one scratches the itch. It's based on tweets from back then when Twitter wasn't a shitshow.

Favourite part:

On the floor like a wild potato

Monkey monkey monkey - that's so cute

In the grim future of Hello Kitty

There is only war

A few key paradigm shifts could save the heart of the world

Having a relationship, is it worth giving up on sex with so many people?

Blue is not a flavor

Where's my Yeti?

I did not get to know placebo back when I was a teen. I missed so many wonderful songs back then.

Not only this particular song is great, it's very actual today.

It's the disease of the age
It's the disease that we crave
Alone at the end of the ride
We catch the last bus home
Corporate America wakes
Coffee republic and cakes
We open the latch on the gate
Of the hole that we call a home

Protect me from what I want
Protect me from what I want
Protect me from what I want
Protect me, protect me
