Not eat anything that casts a shadow.

It's from the Simpsons if you haven't seen it.

A few days ago I shared some news that the Eurovision song from Israel would be named "Your land is mine now" to later realize it was from an onion kind of website, lol.

I hope I'm not alone in this kind of f'up.

I know Jewish people are granted some special right to visit the state of Israel, and some companies organize free tours for Jewish born or living outside.

But does that apply only for people ethnically Jewish that come from Jewish families? Or also applies to new converts to Judaism?

Like, not literally converting tomorrow and demand a free vacation to Israel, but like, converting and in a few years wait and see if they offer me a free vacation to the country to visit the most iconic places of Judaism?

How does that works?

edit: I'm a hispanic atheist with no Jewish family that I know of, and I'm not interested on joining any religion, this is just a hypothetical case.

Like, those who are milked for laughs, but also constantly are like "Oh no, what did they do now"? without reaching the cosmic horror levels of a horror cow, even if they have done fucked up shit.

For example: Onision, iiluminaughthii, Dalas Review.

Plot twitst: I dont have any webcams. Lol.

I was thinking about sentences that can tell the entire story on their own. I have 2 common examples:

  • So, I started to play WOW
  • My husband was 20 older than me

I can already tell how is gonna develop and end. What other sentences you know that have this effect?

I'm making my own Jellyfin home server and filling it with 100% totally legal content wink wink

Anyway, I was thinking about downloading some notorious YT videos, like documentaries or funny videos or MV's. I wonder if there is a way to add them to Jellyfin or have some kind of YT like interface for when I want to watch them from my server.

Thanks.

Like, seriously, why? Are they allergic to have their own brand or something?

I dont wanna shit on you, but the "I cant do better than you" is sweet and I used it with my BF, but the "You can't do better than me" is many times used by abusive partners as a way to diminish their self-esteem and make sure that they dont leave them, because they really think they cant do better than their current abusive partner.

I believe you said it with the best intentions, but is something that people does.

A script that deletes all of your online information.

No. But focusing on supporting one single app instead of the platform is not sustainable for the platform. This meme is just a reminder to support the platform as well.

For me it was, actually. Maybe because I was late to the party so people stopped developing shit for 32 bits, and when I did the transition was like "Finally, I can install shit" also my computer was newer and the OS worked better.

People use to say that you cant lie with statistics, but is a common practice to use statistics to lie.

We can take the infamous 41% suicide rate for trans people. Transphobes throw that out like a killing move implying that trans people are inherently unhappy and being trans is a mental illness (which is not true).

The reality is that the suicide rate is so high because of transphobia, kids getting thrown out of home, homelessness, unable to find a job, staying at the closet to avoid social consecuences, etc.

Trans people who live in more open and accepting environments are way less likely to be depressed and commit suicide. In progresive areas where trans people are more accepted the suicide rate is nowhere near 41%.

ehhhhh, its a heavy sleeper thing for me I think. I usually don't make the conscious decision of falling asleep, I just lay in bed until I just pass out. My brain just gives up and disconnects. I'm a heavy sleeper, and I need like 30 minutes minimum between opening my eyes in the morning and actually getting out of bed.

I'm also watching streaming services too and it happens a lot to me that I'm watching a series in bed, I fall sleep, and wake up to realize I watched many chapters of the series so I gotta watch them again later, this time for real.
