Yeah, I wouldn't want my account tied to my bankid either. But bankid could easily make an age verification that wasn't tied to accounts.

Oh I see. Thanks for the clarification. Is that something they could have gone without and still be as secure as possible?

In Norway we write "name with family" on post cards or invitations etc.

I don't think BankID has any sort of SDK that lets other apps access user data like that? All interaction with BankID I know of at least is triggered with the app needing authentication/signature opening a BankID session to the central service where you enter your authentication and then the BankID app is used as MFA to verify this.

Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying completely?

Most kids here in Norway get a bank account with debet card and BankID with it at 13. Implementing a solution to use it to verify if you are older than X years old would actually be less work than your proposed solution, both for the social media site, banks, the kids and the parents.

BankID is it's own trusted platform. It is not connected to any of them. I am not sure if I understand what the other person is trying to say. Maybe they are afraid that Google and Apple can use BankID verified sessions to better identify the user?

I see. This is the first time I've heard of it. Middle class Norwegian here.

Police gangs? That's the most dystopian thing I've heard of in a long time.

Any alternatives for iOS?

Is there really any logical reason why one voter should be allowed to block the entire process like that? The whole filibuster concept is the strangest part of US politics to me.

I think Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes fits the bill. Not too long and has punched everybody I've recommended it to in the guts.

It is a gui for searching for stuff across sonarr and radarr that also integrates with jellyfin to keep track of what you already have.

So uh. I guess it makes it easier for other people in your household to add stuff to jellyfin

I have bought my first proper home server and am setting up a full stack of media services on truenas scale after years of doing everything manually. In that regard I have set up jellyfin, sabnzbd and radarr, and the next step is to add jellyserr it seems. But then I stumble across prowlarr and cannot figure out if it is a contender to or a supplement to jellyserr. Can somebody tell me what the difference is, if I should use both if they are complementing each other or which you are using if they are competing?
