Whilst we’re at it, consider the impact of open data, where government datasets are available to the community.

That sounds like it would be pretty useful to get better quality statistical research papers (well, I guess quality would depend more upon the researcher), doable by people without corporate backing.

Isn't it already available in a lot of cases?

I used the libinput method for autoscrolling a lot, with X11. (Using the xinput setting) It stopped when I switched to Wayland.

Never thought to make it a GUI setting. More fun now.

So, how do I use this fediverse identity thing?

Is it available with kde.social ?

I tried it and don't see a notification either in my connected mail id or as a dm or sth.

This picture reminds me of the "Sniper Elite" game I played as a kid.

Whom do you think countries wage wars for?

I use a faucet in the toilet.
The TP is just for cleaning edges and corners that are hard to mop/broom/wipe.

Or when I drop some egg innards.

Wow! It's even got a backstory and all.
Doesn't make the product more appealing though. The only thing that does that for me is the Datasheets.

I'm adding this to my Debian wall

I like to think of myself as a big spider in a room with small spiders.
They get the edges and corners and I get the center.

Occasionally, I go around clearing the old webs, so that new spiders can come and make new webs and catch some mosquitoes.
If a spider invades my bed/kitchen/computer, I get rid of it.

Ants are pretty annoying, but are useful too.
They let me know if I dropped some foodstuff and didn't clean it properly, by banding around it.
So I can just go and clean it and the ants stop coming.

It's not .
Most of them will just go outside due to their territorial nature.

This is me. Also that is a cupboard, not inside the bathroom.

Guess this particular exec is not getting this month's bonus.

I came across a stackexchange thread asking if system root access will be required to be given to the user.

And the answer explaining the license and saying they needed to let the user be able to swap the libs on the system somehow.

And because I just joined the community and can't comment there, here I am.

I feel like, the seller doesn't really need to give root access to the user as long as they allow the user to copy said proprietary software on another system (and this act not be restricted by the license) and then do whatever they feel like, as long as the original system is immutated.

Thoughts?
