Freeways/expressways around me are 45 mph minimum. They are normally mounted below the limit sign.

But I have seen small tack on signs that are the same in most regards.

Just need someone to look behind the 1/8 of a cup of juice in the gallon bottle in the fridge...

cupcake if you think that's how I'm loading that into my truck you're the idiot

Did you know there's actually space between the wheel tubs in the bed of that truck to set those boards down flat. And if your object is still a little wider than that you stack a couple of pallets underneath it to build up to level with the wheel tubs and then load it on top of those still within the bed rails and sides and wouldn't necessitate having to try and do a side load like this. where your loading over the side you use a sling and don't just use boards like a fucking idiot.

That's an example of an idiot. And not how you load that.

Actually yes my ranger fits just fine in some of the tightest of places. Never had a problem fitting into compact car spots with no over hang. With a full size 8 foot bed no less.

My pickup can fit that with a forklift in seconds without hand loading.... Can your van....?

[–] this_1_is_mine@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

If you can.... Without breaking something vital thats on the same circuit as something so non-vital as turn signals or headlights. You know from the companies so smart as to not wire all... I mean all the positive hots through the ignition or light switch...... Nothing like an ignition that's 200°f.

Cool just like trying to replace a blower motor in a modern car feel free to rip the entire dash out only to find out it has a second antenna all the way in the back underneath the spare tire also behind a tail light which somehow requires you to remove the muffler to get to....

Those best suited to power rarely want it.

What does a van offer that a small truck wouldn't? Other than opportunity for passengers. Since its a work vehicle passengers isn't generally a concern since basically anything you can buy can handle atleast 2 people. Covered space? Get a cap. Need more Clearance for a fridge you intend on plugging in right away? take the cap off. Over sized item in more ways than one like a couch or bed? you can drop and remove the tailgate. I have yet to see a small van that can be all that customizable?

Edit:

You can down vote but you should add to the discussion. Can we get the numbers on people that have vans and aren't using them to capacity or carrying anything. How about the amount that drive passenger cars that are driving 2+ occupant but serves no more utility than a bicycle that's faster.

To add to the numbers my house hold has a 4 door sedan and a pickup. But we are dual income with no kids. What should I drive instead? so I live 30 miles from work because who is so lucky to work next door and wife is 20 miles fron work. I also do things like move fire wood and mow lawns and... Really do you want a list of all the things I would have to rent a truck for? I have a cap for my bed and have pulled it to move larger stuff. Just because you dont have to do a thing or have a thing or what ever.... Doesn't mean there is t a use case which doesn't involve using someone else's and just using your own.
