uBlock Origin developers and volunteers are doing an incredible job to make the Internet a better place for all of us. They deserved all of our dearest respect.

Even if they did take donations, that doesn't make anyone entitled to push them to do something. Donations is a gift, you can't expect anything in return. Keep this in mind when you are giving to other FOSS projects, or artists or streamers, etc

I also prefer that AI-generated content is clearly identified, by either being published in dedicated communities or labeled as AI in the title. This post does neither. Not nice.

The client for Android TV works very nicely. Maybe there is a way to use the same UI on consoles?

I feel like outdated software on the stable distro like Debian has become less of a problem with the development of flatpak.

There is no community rule against it, as far as I can tell.

I suppose the may concern was stagnating water

Fedora is a very solid, no nonsense distro. It gives you a vanilla Linux experience, with sane defaults out of the box. You get major updates every 6 month shipping newer version of the core stuff (kernel, desktop environment, etc). The Fedora community is dedicated to deliver a reliable OS and tests a lot before shipping updates.

It's my favorite desktop/laptop distro for many years.

However, there are a couple a pitfalls to avoid. If you go for it, follow some beginners guide to get you sorted out with things like codecs and proprietary drivers. E.g: Things to do after installing Fedora 40 - itsfoss.com I would definitely recommend to do steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 from this guide.

Ubuntu isn't such a bad choice if you want to quickly spin up a server.

I see some fairly interesting prices for refurbished drives on Amazon, 35~40% cheaper than new. Example here: 16TB Seagate Exos X18 Refurbished at 166€ and New at 260€.

I am considering this option for my home NAS, running with BTRFS RAID10, plus important files are backed-up to a cloud storage, but not my media collection.

In your opinion, how risky is it to use refurbished drives ? Do you have to good or bad experience doing so ?

Me and Waveshaper has teamed up with the track Pixel Force. A fusion of analog synthesizers & C64 chiptune. Enjoy!

D'après les données de l'étude, la belette, bien que bruyante, ne chante pas.

C64 was my first computer. It ignited my passion for technology, and its sound chip was pivotal in guiding me to where I am today. I’m grateful for having grown up with it and for the classic SID composers—like Rob Hubbard, Chris Huelsbeck, Martin Galway, Mark Cooksey, Jeroen Tel, Matt Gray, Tim Follin, Ben Daglish, David Whittaker—who, over 30 years ago, introduced me to chiptune.
