That was Oblivion believe it or not. Ahh, the good ol' days where everyone got up in arms over even cosmetic DLC.

That is half the reason I have it disabled on my desktop. The other half being that the BIOS updates never fixed the fTPM stuttering issues for my computer (both using the 3700X and 5800X) so the computer is unusable with it turned on.

I mean it is shitty still, but people with an old device and an account already are unaffected, plus the old devices like the one I have is completely operable offline. I've not connected it to WiFi except when I first got it to check the app out.

Don't even acknowledge the current name of the site, just keep calling it Twitter.

Just when I think the phone industry can't get any more boring and frustrating, now new phone releases only add more AI bullshit.

Was transiting through the Iceland airport once and had a random thought about how I was quite far from anyone I know there. No sooner do I finish the thought I look about 20m in front of me and an old university classmate of mine is walking towards me.

I don't think you can cancel an entire country with a couple months notice after you get bored of it.

I wish I could for work. But stupid corporate policy demands otherwise, Google workspace is so shit.

I can get just about any style of pizza I want from local shops, why would I go with a major chain? Rarely I'll get Pizza Hut because it is its own thing that nobody else replicates.

The way I interpret what he is suggesting is that they are planning on going after Patreon type websites that provide a private paid for space for a creator's supporters. It's unlikely, but they could also pretty easily go after OF to keep that traffic on site.

QD-OLED was what finally got me to upgrade from my old Plasma TV a couple years ago. My only regret was not waiting a few months longer to get the really good sales on the S95B. I'm now buying a QD-OLED monitor for my computer because I like the TV so much.

My space is pretty bright (floor to ceiling west facing windows to the side of my TV) and it is mostly fine, even in the afternoon when I get direct sunlight with only some lighly diffusing blinds. You are better off blocking as much light as possible no matter the TV you have though as dark areas will reflect the surroundings on every glossy TV.

Yes, someone stole a game console from my room in university. Then I caught them selling it on craigslist, contacted them, got their name and got them arrested and my console back.

Lucky for me that I had reported it to the police since I was considering using insurance to cover it. The officer that took the info recognised the persons name because he had pulled the guy over that week and thought it would be fun to catch him with stolen goods as well.
