I wish there was a website where people can upload and view historic photos of roads and places on a map UI (lemmy.cafe)
 

Sometimes I go past an old looking building or see some traces of old signage on a store and wonder what they used to be, especially when those traces are hard to read or obscured.

What if the Azumanga cast attended the same school as Class of 09 (i.redd.it)
 

The drama and chaos in the Class of 09 game really makes me wonder how the Azumanga cast would react. The settings are also similar: both take place in a 2000s high school.

em dash supremacy—my friend introduced me to this and i haven't looked back since.

alt+0151 on PC, ctrl+alt+minus for word if I remember right. On mobile you go to more symbols, hold down the minus, and slide to the longest one.

Both require numeric keypad though- but using a minus and a space after can work as a substitute--as well as 2 minus signs (plus Lemmy happens to convert that to an em dash) - but like THAT? treason. absolutely not.

You can even join more than 2 independent clauses together as shown above.

There are methods to restore the picture from boomerification, although depending on the method and the intensity of boomerification, the picture may never be the same as it was before it occured.

This particular example seems savable, as the amount of boomerification is relatively low.

Thinking of making a new banner and logo for the solarpunk aesthetics community (think of leaning it towards Art Nouevau). Thoughts/ideas so far? in c/aesthetic@slrpnk.net

I'll definitely keep that in mind. By emphasizing optimistic eco futurism would that mean including pictures or motifs of solarpunk tech (such as hydroponics)?

I installed this app just to have your themes. Love it so far tho I wish I can open stuff up in the external browser cause of weird fediverse/lemmy stuff (such as communities not loading posts until you subscribe to them). The fediverse is cool, but it's also kinda weird...
