I don't think anyone would be upset if the white house smelled like curry. That would be a nice atmosphere. But what's racist about the rest of it? I think this all went over my head.

The schtick is that the cows write the advertisement saying things like "Eet mor chikin" (instead of burgers, which are cows), and it's spelled wrong because they're cows. Chick-fil-A sells mainly chicken.

I'm all for criticizing idiocy where it's due, but in this case it was likely done intentionally.

Network engineer, cybersecurity, and to a lesser extent devops don't require much, if any, programming skills

How new is it? I just set this up about 2 weeks ago and it required logging into both computers

You can likely use it from different physical locations. But just know that I'm order to set it up, you have to login with your account on their computer at some point to enable the family sharing feature. So unless you go there qnd do it, or remote into their computer to do it, or give them your password, you can't use that feature. Some level of trust in each other is required.

You guys never seen a Chick-fil-A billboard. That's what is being parodied here and why they use "less" instead of "fewer". I was surprised to see multiple people comment on that.

There's no way the GOP will give him another chance after losing twice, especially with all the other baggage

They even asked him a second time even more directly, "Yes or no: do you want Ukraine to win in the war against Russia?" And he still wouldn't just say yes or no. It's like the easiest softball question you could ask for and he whiffed.

My favorite part was when he said "if we come up with a better plan, we will replace Obamacare at that time." Which is as close as he can get to saying he has tried (because he was president for 4 years) and failed to come up with a better plan than Obamacare (because he never did replace it or even announce that he had a plan and yesterday admitted that he doesn't have one). So essentially, he endorsed Obamacare as a better plan than anything he or his team could come up with in the past 9 years.

I loved that confession.

I felt that the psychological effect was the real benefit There were a lot of times that Trump just sat and listened with that stupid look on his face and I appreciate that over him constantly trying to talk over Harris. He still did when both mics were on but it was much more like a debate than we've seen from him previously. I think just knowing the mics would be muted going into it made him behave better.

Exactly. You can always tell when uninformed people chime in with their opinions on this topic. Ukraine has already attempted to achieve peace with Russia multiple times, under the condition that they return stolen territory. That's a pretty easy thing for Russia to do but they won't.

On other apps, when an image or video is posted I can long press on it to copy a direct link to it. The best I could find in Voyager is to copy a link to the lemmy post or open the post in a browser. This makes it hard for me to share memes with friends who don't use Lemmy. But maybe this feature already exists and I don't know where to find it. I just started using Voyager yesterday.
