He should leave the race and get therapy before he goes to prison, that is the best I can hope for him. Get out.

That and all the people who say shit like “But I have to watch the ads to support the creators”, like there wasn’t 70 years of TV advertisements preceding this generation. I know I’m talking to a kid when someone says that. No one thought they were stealing from Burt Reynolds if they didn’t buy a Chrysler or tampons. It’s absurd.

Without getting into the politics of it, the idea of going “that guy looks like a couch fucker” is a perfectly cromulent insult, and if someone wants to avoid that epithet they should look less like they want to fuck couches all the time.

Googles response no one wanted to a product no one asked for. I hope Google buys plots in the graveyard in bulk at this point.

Not downvoting you, and I understand what you’re saying. What I think is different (because I don’t think I weighed too much in on the speculation around Biden, but I was concerned about potential options, too) is that the party is actually united (which I didn’t expect at all) and, particular with Harris, she is better as a politician and leader than she was 4 years ago. She is more seasoned, she speaks more clearly (for the most part), and she is running from a position of strength (she’s already done the VP job) and isn’t trying to convince anyone she can be a credible presidential politician. It’s a much different ballgame.

For the part about uniting the party, maybe many could have done that. In terms of presidential credibility, there are very very few people anywhere near as qualified. Federal prosecutor —> AG (I voted for her) —> Senator (I voted for her) —> VP (I voted for her) all are incredibly substantial on her resume. Oh, and she already passed the first test, which is elevating another politician to the level of credible presidential politics (Hillary didn’t do that). Overall I’m really really pleased with Kamala, hope she keeps it up.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know, thanks!

I watched Ruri break down a MH trailer for a half hour a couple of months ago while lamenting that Capcom “gives out too much” during the prerelease period (the irony), so, I haven’t watched any of these even though I want to. How spoiler-y are they? From someone who watched one or all of them are you thinking you would have rather learned the mechanics in the game or are they worth a watch?

FWIW, that father may have grown up with a father just like you. He just made different choices. Just like you can see that those are different choices. You could and probably will make different choices too, it’s the only way we ever change. It’s not by retroactively having perfect circumstances. It’s by choosing to be better each day moving forward.

Also, as a 40+ year old myself it’s always important to take a clear stock of the ways you’re similar to your parents (I find more every day) and also the myriad ways you are your own individual.
