Christ does say canonically that the church is like his wife.

Marriage—Christ and the Church

22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

(Ephesians 5:22-24)

And bridal theology goes back to the Old Testament, in Song of Songs.

Watched Asteroid City recently for the first time. I thought the play within the movie (and the intertwining back and forth of storylines) was really interesting and entertaining.

JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU FOR POSTING THAT. MUCH JOY HAS BEEN BROUGHT AND, DARE I SAY, WROUGHT.

Someone did my tarot recently, and I didn't realize the second way existed. Paired with introspection after the fact, the experience was quite therapeutic.

Were you ever in marching band? I got relatively good at that after putting my all into marching band in high school.

So the desired response is, "What is "what is up dog?"?"?

That's impressive. Is it still licensed under a libre copyleft license? Surely that's too good to be true.

This explanation has pictures, and I learned me a thing or two from it!

Here's a (grainy, blurry) screenshot, if you don't feel like clicking away to read the comment in its original glory:

I like watching bestdressed and I think I like her style, but sometimes she says something is "vintage". Similarly, Nicole Rafiee sometimes mentions vintage home decor items (not fashion, but still). And I can't identify what is so vintage about these things.

What do you consider to be "vintage" women's clothing? If you're going to say "It depends", then what does it depend on?

Is there a setting to remove haptic feedback (vibration upon voting and probably some other less common actions I'm forgetting)?

For context I'm using the Chrome PWA on Android.
