A preliminary solution can be adding yourself to the plugdev group, which gives your user USB controls. To do this, run sudo usermod -aG plugdev $USER and then restart the software.

What model of ultraleap do you have? How do you connect it to your computer(e.g. Bluetooth, USB, Wifi)

[–] potentiallynotfelix@lemdro.id 2 points 18 hours ago

yeah that would be a nice feature

cool, is it compatible with different DEs?

Well, you can look at a gadgetbridge-compatible watch. gadgetbridge is a foss android app that replaces the manufacturer's app for snartwatches, earbuds, and a few other things. it's a good starting point, but most of the watches aren't directly foss. if you want a watch like that, you have two options. the pine64 pinetime is open source, but not easy to modify if you want a sealed, water resistant version. it also hasn't got the best specs. the bangle.js is a "hackable" smart watch, which has a a SWD interface on the outside, making it an easier option to modify. I can't say as much about it's fitness tracking, but it does have a heart rate monitor and accelerometer.

I have not installed it, so I cannot comment about my experience.

and unplug your linux drive when booting windows, just in case

This is a subjective question. And I don't understand how it's misleading? Pixel UI is far different from stock android, it has a massive amount of changes.

a type 1 hypervisor is practically an operating system itself, just a very minimal one. it's like installing virtualbox to your hard drive. it's probably not best for your situation, because its usually used in servers.

I've made this poll due to a debate over the definition of "base" Android. I consider it to be the AOSP, but I would like other's inputs on it. Thanks for voting!.

So... I just set my keyboard in KDE settings to Dell Latitude(i have a dell latitude) and now i can press the volume keys and they work, and pressing fn lets me press F* keys. But, my menu doesn't open. I've set it to alt+f1, alt+volume mute, and meta+a, but no luck. I am on plasma 5.24.7, using trisquel gnu/linux(triskel variant). I am using X11.

thanks for the help!

It was indeed a rickroll...

I know I can spoof my useragent, it's just ridiculous that such a massive app doesn't support an equally massive browser.

I've got a pretty old macbook pro, I would assume it's intel. I'd installed refind and debian on it then just left it for a while. No damage that I know of, but I did move houses. Now, I plug it in and the power cord shows green, and the battery indicator shows blinking fully bars. I have tried all the keyboard things to reset, but no luck. Is this thing fucked, or are there any possible solutions? Thanks for the help guys!

So I distinctly recall reading a reddit thread where someone woke up with someone else's photo on their cmf watch's custom watch face. I remember a few other people saying they had the same issue, and that's about it. I have tried pretty exhaustively to find that thread, or even any information about the issue, but I just can't seem to find anything. Does anybody remember this, or have any more info? Thanks a lot!

As the title says, I want to play the Epic Games version of Just Cause 4. I have got the same version of wine as the version Lutris uses - wine-ge-8.26 - and I've copied the wine prefix to get the same files exactly. I run Just Cause 4, and on Lutris is runs at an easy 60fps on High, but from the CLI it runs at about 20fps on Low. Anyone have an idea for why this happens?
