YouTube app is not possible to block ads . You need to access YouTube with a mobile internet browser that support plugins . Like Firefox in android and safari in iOS .

This is kind of a question and conformation. Is there a way to backup a lemmy account from one instance and in case some thing happens, restore that user in another (with all the posts, likes, etc) ? I read that they were working on cross instance accounts , but is there a workaround meanwhile? Do we know the status of this implementation?

Same model as all ways. Put all free, people completely upload their info and relying on it, monetize what people free uploaded. Same fucking model as all the companies and not just for media. Example ChatGPT. This should be illegal worldwide.

As the tittle sais, i was trying to create an instagram account and it is not possible without a phone number. Same with discord. Obviously i dont want to provide mine. Any working solutions to bypass this? not looking for alternative private service, i already use them.

The planet has capacity to feed this and far more population . The issue is capitalism and bad administration , greed and bad strategy. There even A LOT of free space for people to live, we are gathered in big cities and that also affects everything .
