But why do it like that, if zotero is easier to use, less prone to errors and uses much fewer resources?

But zotero deals with that just fine. If you remove a citation from the text, the reference at the end will be removed as well. and each new citation will be added normally.

Today I learned that gnome has a crossword maker. Now I need to play with it too!

I didn't mean the choice of image format is a monopolistic behavior, but that the monopoly puts google in a position that any choice they make, be it a good or bad one, becomes an industry standard, without others having any choice in it.

Perhaps it's part of some effort to counter the bad reputation ai has been getting on the high energy demands? I grew up to be doubtful of any seemingly inoffensive news article out there

Felt sad for that last crab who ended with a shell worse than the original :(

And here we have a clear example of how Chrome's almost monopoly is a bad thing for us.

I can already see the first person with the implant losing to a teenager gamer in a competition hosted by musk. This reality's plot has become too boring already. The writer has lost all creativity.

What a really interesting initiative. I will try to contribute some things in their repo.

I already know a few people who were just marginally digitally literate, and now they can't read things like news articles and access several kinds of services anymore, unless someone helps them, because they don't property know how to close invasive popups and solve captchas.

The internet is literally becoming unusable for some people.

Don't forget the mass manipulation of public opinion. There are a lot of players out there doing that all the time. From companies making ads that look like silly posts, and paying people or using bots to speak ill of the competition, to media agencies spreading fake news aiming at shifting people's political views.
