Ah yeah, pay money to pay money. That’s not a grift at all!

Yeah, I guess on the fly switching can be handy. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference to framerates though, at least not in the tested machine.

Allocating memory to your iGPU has been a thing for decades, no?

If it was enough for you to write down then it’s enough to work on not giving a fuck about

You’re right, that works sometimes, until manufacturers get wise and just charge the quality price for a piece of shit. For one-off, niche market things the majority of consumers has no way of knowing which one is a quality product that will do it’s job for a long time and will fail gracefully, and which one is a dangerous time bomb. By the time you find out the money has already paid for some executive’s third gold bath tub.

I used to work on these as a sailor. Most can be chartered for trips. Some sea going ones travel across the world to this day. If you want a fun week get some friends together and sail one some place!

I use wireless headphones even though my phone has the jack connector.

You fuckin' animal

This phone looks like a bad bargain because all the other ones use what amounts to slavery for their production. I would say this is the actual approximation of a fair market price and all the other manufacturers are cheating.

Could have thrown us a radio or a computer. Selfish cunts.

They grew revenue by utilizing vendor lock in. If your infrastructure is built on a product you can’t swap it out overnight simply because the vendor changed the agreement and increased the price. Personally I think VMWare’s death will be a long march but line will go down steadily.

It’s possible, sure, but if pressed Valve will ban the account.

No, it’s not. If Valve goes belly up you can kiss your games and the infrastructure they need goodbye. Also you don’t get to resell games you already own or give them away and selling accounts is against ToS. If you die your games are gone, you can’t give your account away legally.

Some negative space and symmetry, on a square in the Netherlands. Feel free to critique.

The person on the left is carrying bags, the one in orange is a delivery driver and a couple of people are wearing backpacks. Aside from car brained, Damaris is also blind.
