Saw it on the premiere. Liked the first one and I'm really not a fan of Marvel superhero crap. The more I think about it the more I like it.

SpoilerIt's more a psychological exploration of Joker and the guy behind the Joker, rather than a story driven piece. Joaquin Phoenix performance was incredible and even though Gaga was okay she couldn't keep up with Joaquin, none could. Went in blind and have heard critics hate it but they're morons in that case. Big thumbs up.

I think the ad model is fine as long as adblockers work. Only a small percent uses them and the normies without can watch the ads so the service stays free. Perhaps a bit egoistical but works for me! 😅

After years of open beta development the game had a controversial Steam release in March as a pay-to-access game that was otherwise free with their own launcher, now has relaunched as completely free.

The game uses the War Thunder engine and imports their models for a realistic theater of war with planes, tanks and infantry.

Let's say the roofs are all red, how big does it have to be to be visible as a little red dot?

I know older titles are usually the topic in this community but a lot of the popular f2p games are getting pretty old now too, and if you're like me you've been curious about some of them and even pleasantly surprised now and again.

There are many examples like League of Legends, Apex Legends, Raid: Shadow Legends etc and I usually get hooked on one and play it for some months or more. I'm not really trying to get into the "business" side of things, I personally very rarely purchase anything but if you do that's absolutely fine too.

The current ones I play regularly:

  • PC - Enlisted - A WW2 shooter with vehicles like the Battlefield games. Same publisher and game engine as War Thunder and has been in open beta for over 2 years now. Kinda janky still but regularly updated and enjoyable.
  • Android - CUE cards universe everything (I forget exactly lol) - Fun deck builder but very grindy if you don't buy shit. Pretty unique concept for a deck builder what I've come across. Short games too so good for a smoke break or the bus or whatever.

So, what do you play?

It follows a crew of a damaged deep space freighter who are stranded on a beautiful but dangerous planet.

Beautiful animation and wildly imaginative. The story probably won't blow your mind but the alien world might! I certainly enjoyed it and consider it one of the more interesing SciFi shows released lately.
