It’s ok to dream about the future LG, but how about releasing firmware upgrades in the present to fix your current OLED monitors?

I recently played it on Game Pass and was greatly surprised at how good it is. With all the backlash it got during launch I was expecting a QTE fest and poorly optimized game but although is far from perfect and the levels are more linear than they should be, especially in an era where everyone goes for semi open or hub based level design. But all in all it is a very solid and polished action/survival horror game and a very enjoyable experience.

In my experience frame generation only feels smoother if you are already having high FPS. It you have 90-120 FPS frame generation will get you 120-150 FPS and it will feel smooth. If you are getting 40-50, it will get you 60-ish and it won’t feel good because the added input lag feels worse the less FPS you have.

Adults should come first, so they then can teach their children.

That’s fine, Geralt had its history arc it’s time to move on. The important part of The Witcher is the world. It’s kind of like Mass Effect, what you don’t have to do is screw the history, make generic/boring characters and repetitive gameplay. As long as they don’t do that it will be fine.

Oh, didn’t know, it’s pretty cool, the few “optimized” games I’ve played didn’t have it, so I assumed that this was first.

Is “Steam Deck” a preset in the graphic settings selector? If so it is pretty cool, I’ve seen many games claim “optimized for settings “ but unless there is a preset is up to the user to fiddle until it get the optimal settings. This is a cool idea, haven’t seen it before.

I would be lucky if I get to watch more than 10000 videos in my entire lifetime.

It did it although I never used it that way more like to slow down enemies or gaining time. In Bloodborne it didn’t felt weird at all but here it somehow breaks the flow of combat.

My first thought too.

Ok, this is the first game I’ve ever bought on Steam, I still haven’t played it after all these years. Shame on me.

Checked it on my last day of Game Pass so only played a couple hours and it was pretty meh. The stuttering on a high end pc was terrible and the gameplay was bland and generic, the lack of heavy attacks and the pistol as a parry mechanic totally breaks the flow of the combat and makes it very simplistic. The movement, particularly jumping felt very floaty.
