They would have been done by now but they're still figuring how to throttle the batteries from afar so folk'll have to buy new and improved ultra next-level glasses after their current pair "dies".

When Donald says "cherished" you know he wants to take Canada into the back change room at The Bay and have his way with us.

Trump got caught knowing nothing about tariff's when on a finance news show. Trump said to the interview guy "No! You know nothing about tariff's!". Since then he has gone all in on the tariff's he knows nothing about because he does not want to admit he was a fool.

I always get nervous when people call other people stupid because they don't act like them.

"news headlines" should be "opinion headlines". I'm going back to Jack Webb from Dragnet..."Just the facts, ma'am.".

I'm not sure what you mean by "we" in this new age of strident nationalism and creeping isolationism. I don't even know generally what should be done, let alone exactly. It has to do with money, power, greed, human nature...all that shit and more I assume. I guess I will do one thing today that I have control over. I'm Canadian and I will vote today.

Journalists search for the truth is a good thing. The problem is the media outlets. They are a business who will sell anything if it is profitable, regardless of what they might do to the society they are serving. Right now hate and divisiveness is hot and it sells, sells, sells.

Is this clickbait? Do they mean that Trump and Putin represent all strong men? I'm giving up on media what-ifs and going back to "just the facts ma'am" news reporting. Whether you're an academia nut or just a nut it's pretty obvious that a paternal hierarchy exists.
