Look for eco conscious companies in your area, even if they are just doing it for optics. The property management co I work in has a battery recycling bin in the main lobby, others keep them out of sight but are just a request away. I just did a ~~google~~ search of my area and there are so many listed. Search "Recycle batteries in [city]"

Edit: I don't use THAT search but it is so burnt into my mind I missed it there, sorry, lol

I have a microsoft trackball, black body red ball thumb driven, was $35 us/$99 cdn and I bought the first of 2 in 2000 it has not been supported for a long time. I saved the drivers to a usb and am still using the combined trackball today. The 1st tracball had 1 board die in it, bought the second the other board died in that one so I combined the 2 working boards and it still goes strong.

We switched from kas to bitdefender. Bit seems as good as kas as my windows is still clean, well clean as windows can be, and my (Boomer) mother takes my advice and dropped nortons decades ago. Some of my alternate sites are just absolutely infested with malware and a buddy of mine, half my age, was using nortons and was having trouble connecting to me and server hosted online games. Had him run Malware bytes, I also ran it on my system to help him use it, and he was heavily infected; Nortons: Everything is fine, carry on. He is using bit now

Speaking of finances, I'd like to know how much he lost to trumps scams. I'm just impatient, that will (or won't) be discovered in the investigation
