Not having children is one of the easiest ways to contribute to solving climate change, which is exactly why we should encourage it regardless of whether the person is also taking other steps to solve it (which we don’t know). Not having a child also saves 58 tons of CO2 emissions per year, so it’s one of the most effective things you can do to fight climate change too, so that simple action does a lot to fight for a better world.

Workers and Resources, as well as Factorio! (Space DLC of course.) I’m starting a new game of Factorio with my brother and already sucked in despite not even having green science yet.

I wonder if it’s linked to the decline in sex in real life due to young people staying inside more and playing video games instead of socializing. I swear I saw an article about that at some point on Lemmy (or maybe Reddit).

No, making a sandwich is more effort equivalent to sending an email, or maybe adding items to a shopping site cart and buying them. Both are fairly intuitive and don’t involve memorizing weird commands like “ls” and “cd” (“cd? But my computer doesn’t even have a CD drive!”).

No, most people don’t need to learn shell scripting to browse the internet, play games, or send emails. Especially if they have jobs that don’t involve a lot of computer work. And it’s unfair to expect them to learn that just so they can use their computer as they were before.

Doesn’t it natively run on the Steam Deck?

What was your prompt?

Hard agree, I’m rooting for the bucks over the cubs (and the packers over the bears)

My copy hasn’t started doing that

Hello! My sister sent me some images on the .RW2 format, does anyone know any programs I should use to easily open/covert them to jpeg? Using Linux Mint if that helps.

I know this could easily be googled, but someday I'd like to imagine people tacking site:lemmy.world to their google searches instead of site:reddit.com

Weight limits for bicycles need to be higher and more transparent, especially if the majority of people want to use them.

They added a hospital with built-in helicopter parking! Otherwise, a few new buildings, not too much in this one.

It works with most websites, it syncs my bookmarks across computers, lets me reuse my existing Google account instead of needing to make a new one, and I really don't care about my data going to Google because I already give up my data in exchange for free services (which feels like a win-win).

TL:DR; New large train station! Also new medium shopping centers, and updated models for the food and alcohol factories.

Sadly no update on when the test branch will get them though.
