One of us needs some introspection and it's not me - it's entirely possible to believe strongly that Israel has the right to defend itself, hope that Israel gets all the terrorists, be absolutely outraged by what happened on October 7th while also being utterly, utterly horrified by the killing of children in enormous numbers and the witnessing of many of the other horrors that have come out of this.

Those things do not exclude each other in any way. They're not even vaguely contradictory.

Like there's no question she considers Kursk to be Russian so any Ukrainian soldier trying to get her to say "oh yeah, the Ukrainian army is great" and she does it is down to the power imbalance.

Like what was she supposed to say? "No lads, you fuck off home now" and hope for the best that she doesn't get shot?

Yeah, they're doing incredible work. BBC saying they're now creating their own prepared lines of defence so it looks like they're there to stay for the long haul.
