My first foray on the internet was AltaVista, at a friends' pc with dialup connection. Still gives me a nostalgic feeling to think about that moment when the realization of all the opportunities kicked in.
But if I brew my own coffee at home, how will people know I'm writing a screenplay?

That's why I deleted the message a minute after I posted it ;). The ambiguous use of 'it' in one sentence is still sloppy writing though.
But the infrastructure not only never got the green light, it was also subsequently neglected.
How can planned infrastructure that never got to exist, be neglected?
