I'm thankful my father was so insistent on teaching me to type properly. At the time I was super annoyed at him putting a cardboard cutout over the keyboard so I couldn't see keys. But touch typing has been a boon ever since, I doubt dad was prepping me for typing quickly mid-game but it sure is nice!

It's not 100% clear why Larian didn't include these features in the toolkit to begin with, but it may be a case of protecting certain copyrighted assets being scraped easily from the game, or from being altered in a way that is unpleasing to DnD's intellectual property overlords.
Super duper cool that this was done, I just worry that WoTC/Hasbro will mandate this sort of thing needs to be squashed. The new DND system is focusing heavily on a virtual tabletop system under a subscription plan. While standalone BG3 isn't a threat, a modded full custom campaign could be seen as one. I wouldn't even bring this up buuuuut between sending Pinkertons to collect MTG cards and the OGL crackdown, seems like any scummy move could be possible.

Ugh, good read yet sad content. The irony of complimenting your writing by using the antithesis of word choice and structure to express emotions. If she was looking to make it easier, then she saw your birthday message as a chore. This is the tech way to have your assistant write and sign your birthday card. It's the exact opposite of consideration, just rude and tacky.

Sounds like its essentially seitan, and frankly you can do amazing things with wheat gluten. My personal fav is the hilariously named WTF method (wash that flour).
For spam I imagine they just salt the hell out of it. 😂
