Yeah that’s the biggest cure for “learning something and not knowing why”. Instead of just reading to read, try doing things, and when you have a problem or question look it up.

Want to install multiple programs at once? Google it. Want to search for a program, but it spits out 700 versions? Google how to filter outputs in the command line.

Unless you just really like reading dry ass documentation then you kinda just have to do it. And when you run into an issue then figure out the fix.

It's only ideal if you hit the power button on your phone. I never hit the power button on my phone except to turn it off. Raise to wake or tapping the screen is the only way I wake my phone.

It's less that the sensor isn't good enough, and more than the human operating it isn't good enough.

I have an iPad 10th gen with the fingerprint power button and I never realized just how often I hit the power button with parts other than my finger tip.

It has a snapdragon CPU so you'd have to try to find how to get it into EDL mode and potentially a cable for it. With my oneplus phone I rescued the other day I was able to use a regular cable, but that was also with their proprietary software.

Do you guys really need some intense clickers?

Bigger games can also be quick. A match of rocket league is like 10 minutes. There's no story so you can pick it up and put it down whenever you want.

Guy at work always starts saying sexist shit when no other women are around

I misread that as sexiest shit at first and was super confused. "Damn they must be working with some gay ass motherfuckers."

Geriatric dogs aren't very fun. You take care of them because it's the right thing to do, not for your own enjoyment.Keeping them happy is what brings you joy.

In the same way you don't go to the club with your grandparents.

Have you tried walking the dog more than the bare minimum for it to pee and poop? Or even better, go to a dog part where there's people with all sorts of (hopefully friendly) dogs.

NiMH or regular akaline batteries can also catch fire when they get thrown in the trash.

Also they make lithium ion AAs too.

USB A to C maybe, but C to C cannot work without data. To me MicroUSB was notorious for that. At this point all my micro USB cables that I have left don't do data because I've given away, or worn out/broke all the ones that did data.

Now I just have a bunch of USB C to ___ adapters. Right now on my desk I have a USB C to Micro, Micro to USB C (just in case) and a USB C to lightning adapter all stuck together.

Voltage fluctuates. You could put 9v into it and it will be just fine. Hell you can probably put 12v into it and it will be fine. I have a switch at work that only exists to split one ethernet cable into two, and it's rated for either 5 or 9v, but I'm using a 12v power supply on it and it's just fine because it's power conversion is rated for well over that (I think 16v max).

Disclaimer: don't blindly put higher voltage into a device rated for a much lower voltage. 9v devices will usually tolerate 12v, but not all.
