This exact kind of situation does happen all the time. I don't believe it's a majority of men at all, but even if it's a small percentage, that's still a lot because of the magnitude of their actions. Even if it's only a 5% chance that rejecting a guy is going to cause them to go completely off the rails, you're still not going to want to take that chance because there's nothing in it for you, and in those 5% of cases it's going to be extremely upsetting, or in some cases, actually physically dangerous to you.

You need to touch grass and talk to more women if you don't know that most women have experiences exactly like this.

I always find the plastic straw thing being lumped in with climate change to be really annoying. Banning plastic straws isn't about climate change, it's about litter and waste. The problem with them is that they were getting all over the place and fucking with ecosystems. Fighting climate change is part of environmentalism, that doesn't mean all environmentalism goes towards fighting climate change.

The desktop was feature complete in 1998. Everything after that was unnecessary complication. I use xfce desktops and it hasn't changed a bit and I love it.

I trust nuclear can be built safely, problem is I don't trust the humans building, maintaining, and running it to not cut corners. I flat out didn't trust nuclear that's run for profit as shareholders will demand cost cutting to maximize profits, and I didn't know if I'd trust publication funded nuclear to stay properly funded.

Russia waving the white flag would end the war equally as fast

But why would ordering it the other way make the ship explode?

Twitter people pointed out that Mein Kampf is sold there, but it's a historic book and valuable to read to understand the roots of fascism to fight it.

I agree that we shouldn't be tolerant of the intolerant, but I don't think censorship is the right tool to use in that fight.

What lack of wealth would require you to read a linked in influencer post?

What if you're the one that was in charge of adding safe guards?
