Additionally, Benevity could also have an option for donations to pro-Palestinian groups too since the only requirement for registration is that the org be a 501c3 which can be obtained by any non-profit. It’s not like Apple is choosing sides by allowing employees to donate to whichever causes they support as individuals.

Give me a fucking break. You have to point to some random website to even try to defend this and even that says that it’s not really a word but language is fluid?

You’re only proving the point more.

The difference is that you made that word up on purpose…

I dunno... someone that doesn't make up words like "goodest"?

Is this seriously an article about the fact that there’s a new Corridor Crew video?

I mean, he’s dead so you’ll never know if you have the same tastes as him…

I’m not sure but that’s a potential solution. You’d have to find the older APK somewhere but I feel like it should work since it’s just a Bluetooth connection to the toy.

The funny thing about this is that the first time I had that moment of realization was when I got the Sphero BB-8 toy from my kids for Christmas. It had a dedicated app. The reason it’s funny is because, out of all the things that I own, it’s the only app-driven one that still works. Sphero just merged it into their main app. Once that app stops getting updated, this toy will cease to work despite everything about it being functional. ☹️

What in the fuck are you on about?

It’s not pride in the lines drawn, it’s pride in the positive things that your community does on a national scale. That’s the point. You take the good things that you see elsewhere and you decide that you want to emulate that.

There are multiple ways. Statistical significance is largely used to determine whether a sample size is representative but it’s flawed on its own for some sample sizes as small effects can get exaggerated the larger the sample gets. Look up the methods for determining effect sizes and confidence intervals to determine the best route to go to see what minimum sample size is necessary to both have high confidence in the accuracy of the hypothesis and to ensure that the results have enough statistical power to detect the effect in question.

How? That statement means nothing unless you explain it.

Patriotism and nationalism has zero place in society.

Not true. Patriotism is wanting and seeking the best for your country. Because our society relies on those physical divides, patriotism would actually improve society. Nationalism is deciding that whatever your country is doing already is the best simply by virtue of self-identification. There is no desire for improvement outside of an individual perception so it, functionally, can never offer any improvement for society.

One is potentially beneficial. The other is cancerous.

Apologies if this isn't the best place to post this...

I'm not able to receive phone calls anymore after updating to iOS17. My friend told me that they tried calling me 4 times and got a busy signal every time. I told them that my phone never rang (which is true) but, when I went to my missed calls, it shows 4 missed calls from them. I asked them to call me again (while I was looking at my phone) and the notification banner for the call comes in for a split second but is "greyed out" and says their name and then "User busy" before disappearing.

I've restarted my phone, checked to make sure I didn't accidentally block them, added them to my Favorites, and even had someone else try to call me and all result in the same thing. My computer rings via FaceTime when some people call me but it seems like my phone won't ring at all and everyone just gets a busy signal.

Any ideas? Anyone else getting this after the update? I've searched for a while now but every reference to "User busy" is old and just says something to the effect of "restart your phone" or "change your settings to allow unknown/junk callers". This isn't either of those things, though.
